My “Rize” throughout the media industry was certainly an unforeseen path. I am somewhat of a late bloomer, who finally decided to take a shot and invest in himself. This is where Rize and React Media started to flourish.
I have been working in various roles throughout the media industry since 2010. From developing my own blog to interning for a National PR Firm, it gave me the confidence to excel to the next step. Who knew the next step was CEO, Publicist, and National Radio Host. I use all these roles to help me enhance and/or identify a client’s direction.
I have been featured on outlets such as Fox News, CBS, ABC, Vice TV, and various radio stations across the country. Along with running the day-to-day operations of RRM, I currently hold a role as a National Radio Host on Sirius XM on the weekends talking about the world of sports. These opportunities have allowed me to develop the relationships needed to gain publicity for my future clients. In a way, I was my own experiment.
One of my primary goals was to develop a PR company that wasn’t looking to break the bank and was financially viable for any future client, not just big corporations. I saw an industry where people were scared of the word PR, but I knew, with the right focus, that perception could change. In a world where client retention doesn’t always seem feasible, retaining clients for years, not months, is something I hold in high regard.
Today, I teach my clients how to strategically leverage exposure to increase their credibility. I help them understand how to gain visibility in a crowded space. I know how hard it is to gain momentum, but as a driver, I keep them on the right path.
I love what I do and who I work with. I am blessed to be a viable asset in a very volatile industry and is something I never take for granted.
